Yesterday, Saturday May 12, the group exhibition Passers-by: Barcelona - Tel Aviv was opened in the Tel Aviv Artists’ Studios in Florentin. Four artists participate in the show: Domenec and Daniel Chust from Barcelona and Koby Levy and Doron Rabina from Tel Aviv. The opening event was very fine and overcrowded with local artists, art students, curators and gallerists…
At the same time at the opposite side of the same building there was an event of the Florentin Citizen’s Center. There were a lot of young people and kids from the neighbourhood, performances, music, graffiti on the walls and photographs of the ActiveStills Street Exhibition…
Turns out that art is not that far away from citizens.
On Thursday morning, 10/05/07, around 40 exhibitions (1600 photos) were decorating the walls of the cities- Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv
The exhibition 40 to 67 of the group of documentary photographers ActiveStills concentrates on the four of the cities occupied by Israel since the war of 67 - Hebron, Bethlehem, Gaza and East Jerusalem, which is still perceived as one of the great “victories” of Israel.
The exhibitions will be displayed during the current month in different places around Israel, Palestine, Europe and the United States.
Open your eyes!!
more street exhibitions coming soon…
And also ActiveStills invite you to the opening night of the exhibition 40 to 67, at Artists’ House, Tel Aviv, Tuesday 15.05.07 at 20:00

Today Monday May 7 we had in Barbur Window Zoo sticker workshop
It was really wonderful! People worked and created their own stickers. Some of the results stayed on the Barbur’s windows and streets around Barbur.
The workshop was be conducted by Inspire guys together with local artists Poe and TRY - Poe-Try(!!)
About Windowzoo:
“Windowzoo is one of the first community art projects worldwide.
The project turns everyone into an artist and every location into an exhibition space. Having found its origins in streetart, windowzoo has gone further and generated a new, non-destructive kind of urban landscape intervention. The context of an installation is equally important as the installation itself. The work installed might not be from the artist installing it and the photograph that makes it to the website might be from yet another person. The digital platform connects the installations across continents, time and space. Multiple layers of interaction combined with growing global appearance and disappearance”. more about windowzoo
